The spokesperson for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah, announced that the army, the joint forces, and the heroes of the popular resistance in El Fasher had written a new chapter of resistance on Thursday by repelling a large-scale attack by the Rapid Support Forces militia on the city.
Nabil confirmed in a press statement that the militia suffered heavy losses in both personnel and vehicles, with the tally still ongoing.
According to the available information, the army successfully thwarted the militia’s attack from both the eastern and southern directions of the city, destroying 12 militia combat vehicles and killing many militia members.
