The United Nations has announced that it will host a high-level ministerial meeting on the escalating crisis in Sudan and the region next Wednesday, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meetings in New York. The meeting will be chaired by the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, along with Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United States, the European Union, and the African Union.
