Disputes Within the Federal Union, Hadra Suspends Membership

Sudan Events – Exclusive

Ahmed Hadra, the rapporteur of the Federal Union’s leadership office, submitted a memorandum announcing the suspension of his party membership until the extraordinary conference called for by the higher committee convenes.
In his memorandum, Hadra outlined the reasons for suspending his membership, including the lack of agreed-upon and ratified regulations by the components that formed the union to be relied upon organizationally. He also mentioned the recent dismissals of leadership figures, an executive committee member, and a member of the general conference’s higher committee. Additionally, he criticized the prolonged existence of temporary leadership structures without legitimacy, which had been extended multiple times, allowing them to remain in power indefinitely, despite there being justifications for delays on one or two occasions.
According to Hadra’s memo, the ongoing war, for which no one knows the end, is not a valid reason to indefinitely prolong these illegitimate structures.
Hadra accused a specific group within the executive committee of benefiting from this significant flaw, as they have no interest in reform or involving others in the decision-making process, leaving the issue unresolved without prospects for improvement.
