Sudan Events – Reports
Army commanders announced the recapture of the strategic Jabal Moya area. Sources told “Sudan Tribune” that the army launched an early morning offensive from Sennar city and advanced to take control of locations previously held by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) at Jabal Moya Station and other sites in the mountain range.
Sources confirmed that the armed forces have now fully secured Jabal Moya Station and established significant defenses. The army’s platforms shared videos of soldiers seizing positions previously controlled by the RSF in Jabal Moya. Special forces commander in the Sennar movement, Fath Al-Alim Al-Shubali, declared the liberation of Jabal Moya, a statement backed by another field commander confirming control over the important site.
Meanwhile, the commander of the Sennar movement, Major General Abdulmunim Abdulbasit, inspected his forces around Jabal Moya and congratulated the fighters on their victories, vowing not to retreat and to continue fighting until full liberation.
