The Al-Muqran area in central Khartoum has turned into an active battlefield between the army and the RSF over the past few days, continuing through Thursday morning. The army has seized control of the Central Bank of Sudan and several other government institutions.
The army has increased its presence around the bank and along the main streets in the area. Clashes with the RSF persist, with the militia retreating towards the Arab Market area, while the army is nearing the Republican Palace.
Sources cited by “Al-Tar Sudan” reported significant advances by the army in central Khartoum, particularly in the Al-Muqran area, with the army now controlling the Central Bank of Sudan.
