French international forward Ousmane Dembélé, who had been sidelined by Paris Saint-Germain due to disciplinary reasons, returned to training on Friday, according to a photo shared by the Parisian club on social media.
Dembélé’s return was expected on Thursday, but it was delayed due to a case of tonsillitis, according to the Qatari-owned team.
Spanish coach Luis Enrique confirmed on Monday that Dembélé was excluded from the clash against Arsenal (0-2) in the Champions League due to “a commitment issue with the group.”
He had arrived late to training last weekend following the 3-1 win over Rennes on Friday in the French league, according to a source close to the club, who added that Dembélé had apologized to his coach.
Dembélé has been called up to play for the French national team in their upcoming matches against Israel and Belgium on the 10th and 14th of this month in the Nations League, while his team will face Nice on Sunday in the seventh round of the domestic league.
