“Medani Resistance”: 6 Militia Members Took Turns Raping a Woman

Sudan Events – Reports
The Medani Resistance Committees, in central Sudan, reported that six members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) raped a woman in the Mazad neighborhood on September 30, after tying up her husband, beating him, and threatening their child.
According to the committees, “In another heinous incident, eyewitnesses informed us on Monday, September 30, 2024, that a group of six members of the RSF attacked a house in the Mazad neighborhood of Wad Medani. They tied up the husband, beat him, and threatened to kill his child. The perpetrators then took turns raping the wife from 1 a.m. until dawn.”
The committees added in a statement on their X (formerly Twitter) account that the wife was taken to receive medical treatment after suffering a torn uterus, severe nervous breakdown, and episodes of screaming and convulsions.
The statement continued, “The Janjaweed militia continues to destroy the social fabric, dismantle Sudanese society, and wage war against unarmed citizens, particularly targeting women’s bodies, with no one to answer their cries for help.”
