Minister of Agriculture Discusses Crop Marketing in Gedaref

Sudan’s Federal Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Abubakr Omar Al-Bushra, discussed the agricultural season with Gedaref’s acting governor, Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin Adam, and the director-general of the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources, Engineer Ammar Abdullah Suleiman, on Saturday.

They discussed the completion of the agricultural season, focusing on harvesting, securing agricultural areas, and combating pests. They also addressed the importance of marketing crops, protecting forests from illegal logging, and safeguarding the environment.

The minister praised the role of the state and production partners in ensuring the success of the season despite the country’s exceptional circumstances.
