US B-2 Bombers Strike 5 Houthi Weapon Depots in Yemen

The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced that the United States conducted airstrikes using stealth B-2 bombers on Wednesday night, targeting weapon storage facilities in Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen.
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement that “US forces targeted several underground facilities belonging to the Houthis containing various weapon components similar to those used by the Houthis to target civilian and military ships across the region.” The Pentagon added: “We carried out strikes against five weapon storage sites in Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen,” and that “ongoing assessments indicate no civilian casualties.”
ABC News reported, citing US officials, that the US military bombed Houthi weapon storage facilities in Yemen. It quoted a US defense official stating that “US Central Command forces carried out several airstrikes on multiple Houthi weapon storage facilities inside Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen.”
Meanwhile, Houthi-affiliated media in Yemen reported early today (Thursday) that US-British airstrikes targeted the cities of Sanaa and Saada.
