Sudan Events – Reports
At least 50 people were killed and 200 others injured on Friday in the village of Al-Suhra in the locality of Al-Kamilin, in the latest wave of violence by the Rapid Support Forces in Al-Jazeera State. The Al-Jazeera Conference stated in a statement that a force from the Rapid Support Forces stormed the village of Al-Suhra since dawn on Friday, setting up its weapons and artillery in high buildings and began firing at unarmed citizens. The statement noted that citizens in the area reported that at least 50 people had fallen dead, while the number of injured has now exceeded 200 amid a complete lack of healthcare.
Additionally, a statement issued by the Central Call Platform reported that the Rapid Support Forces continued to storm dozens of villages in East Al-Jazeera, committing crimes described as terrorist, including murder, rape, looting, vandalism, and the kidnapping of unarmed innocents, indicating that the crimes committed by the Rapid Support Forces warrant classifying them as a terrorist group.
