A massive fire completely destroyed the village of Murjan Masra in the Umm Kaddada locality in North Darfur on Friday.
The fire resulted in the loss of livestock and property. Eyewitness Habib Mahdi reported to “Darfur24” that the fire left residents homeless and caused the loss of all property, including money and livestock.
Mahdi appealed to national and international organizations for urgent intervention to aid citizens and assess the losses and damages they suffered. He revealed that over 51 homes were completely burned, dozens of livestock perished, and the agricultural harvest of peanuts, millet, and sorghum was entirely ruined.
