Northern State Invites Sudanese Expats for Collective Investment

Sudan’s agency for overseas Sudanese affairs is encouraging Sudanese expatriates, particularly those from the Northern State, to invest collectively in the region. Secretary-General Dr. Abdul Rahman Zain Al-Abidin highlighted a memorandum signed in 2022 allocating 2,000 acres of farmland and 1,200 residential plots for expat investors. Northern State Investment Minister Omar Ali Saleh has proposed collaborative opportunities in services, mining, and small industries, aiming to foster economic growth and provide additional incentives to expatriate investors.
