Local residents reported on Saturday that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) launched an attack on villages north of Al-Duwaym in White Nile State, leading to waves of displacement.
Residents told “Sudan Tribune” that “the RSF launched attacks accompanied by looting and intimidation on the villages of Qoz Al-Khanjar, Al-Shakiri, Tayba, and Al-Qweiz, in the Umm Ramata locality of White Nile State.”
They noted that the residents of these villages fled to the city of Al-Duwaym.
Eyewitnesses reported that the RSF attacked the area of Qoz Al-Khanjar, located 12 kilometers from Al-Arashkol, where the army is concentrated, and approximately 50 kilometers northwest of Al-Duwaym.
Witnesses said that the RSF forces are employing a tactic of quick operations, carrying out looting and intimidation with designated groups before retreating to their positions, in an apparent attempt to force residents to flee.
