At least nine people were killed on Monday in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, following artillery shelling by the RSF on various neighborhoods of the city.
Eyewitnesses told “Sudan Tribune” that “at least nine people were killed and dozens were injured by artillery shells fired by the RSF on the Awlad Al-Rif neighborhood.”
They pointed out that the RSF continued to target populated areas in the southern, southeastern, as well as the western and northern parts of El Fasher, causing casualties and massive destruction of a large number of homes.
Military aviation also conducted a series of airstrikes on RSF positions in the eastern part of the city and around the large city market.
