EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said on Tuesday that the fate of Ukraine will determine the future of the European Union, marking 1,000 days since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Speaking after a meeting of EU defense ministers in Brussels, Borrell said, “The fate of the Ukrainians will determine the fate of the European Union,” according to AFP.
He described the Russian threat to use nuclear weapons as “irresponsible.”
