Erdoğan on Arrest Warrants for Netanyahu and Galant: “A Brave Decision”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed on Saturday the issuance of arrest warrants by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, describing it as a “brave decision.”

Speaking in Istanbul, Erdoğan said: “We support the arrest warrants. We see it as important to implement this brave decision by all states party to the (Rome Statute) to restore humanity’s confidence in the international system.”
