The Sudanese Army announced on Saturday the liberation of the city of Singa from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The armed forces congratulated the Sudanese people on the liberation of the Singa area and the return of the 17th Infantry Division’s leadership.
In a statement, the army said, “We dedicate this victory to our people, who have suffered from killing, displacement, oppression, looting, and all forms of atrocities by the terrorist militia of Al-Degalo family, and we reaffirm our determination and commitment to make every effort, by God’s will, to purge every inch of our country that has been tainted by this criminal militia.”
The statement continued, “We pray for paradise and eternal peace for our righteous martyrs, speedy recovery for the wounded, and a quick release for the prisoners and the missing.”
