Increased Demand for the Dollar Drives Up Its Price

Sudan Events – Reports
Foreign currency exchange rates against the Sudanese pound have risen again in the parallel market after a period of stability.
Currency traders reported that on Thursday, the buying price of the U.S. dollar in the parallel market reached 2,550 Sudanese pounds, while the Saudi riyal was priced at 664.89 pounds, the Egyptian pound at 50.37 pounds, and the Emirati dirham at 681.19 pounds. The euro was priced at 2,631.57 pounds, the British pound at 3,125 pounds, the Qatari riyal at 683.06 pounds, the Omani rial at 6,470.15 pounds, and the Kuwaiti dinar at 7,931.16 pounds.
Currency traders attributed the price increase to growing demand and limited supply, along with large-scale purchases by certain parties.
