Doctors Without Borders: Humanitarian Aid to Gaza at Its Lowest in Months

Sudan Events – Agencies
Doctors Without Borders warned on Friday about the significant decline in humanitarian aid reaching Gaza, marking the lowest levels in months. The organization raised alarms about the deteriorating health conditions among residents due to rising cases linked to food and water shortages.
In a statement, the organization noted that relief materials are not reaching those in need due to “Israeli authorities’ restrictions on aid entry” and incidents of looted trucks.
Doctors Without Borders also highlighted that some of their medical facilities have had to turn patients away due to a lack of essential supplies.
Caroline Seguin, the head of the organization’s emergency program, said, “Every minute life-saving medicines and equipment are delayed—either due to Israeli refusals or looting—patients suffer the consequences.”
The charity emphasized that displaced individuals in Gaza face “dire consequences” during the harsh winter months and called for an immediate and sustained ceasefire to prevent further suffering and deaths.
