Sudan Events – Follow-ups
Member of the Sovereign Council, Abdullah Yahya Ahmed, stated that the war is nearing its conclusion and that the Rapid Support Forces militia is on the brink of collapse.
In a briefing to a number of journalists, Yahya described the war ignited by the militia as a major conspiracy against Sudan and its people. He emphasized that Hemeti (the leader of the militia) had the weapons, capabilities, and support necessary to take control of the country within 24 hours, but he failed due to the wisdom and strategic planning of the Sudanese army.
He announced good news in the coming days for the conclusion of the war and the end of the militia, confirming that the armed forces and popular resistance movements now control the situation.
