Defense Minister Lieutenant General Yassir Ibrahim announced the liberation of Umm al-Qura locality in the Al-Jazira state, and also revealed the recovery of the Sennar Sugar Factory.
In his weekly briefing organized by the Ministry of Information in Port Sudan on Monday, the Defense Minister mentioned that the “Al-Sayyad” force is on the outskirts of the city of Umm Rawaba. He also noted that the army destroyed a force coming from the Al-Abbasiya axis towards Umm Rawaba in North Kordofan.
The Defense Minister described the UAE’s provision of strategic drones to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) as a “clear aggression against the state,” confirming that Sudan reserves the right to respond at the appropriate time and place.
