Meeting Ensures Arrangements for Sudanese Secondary Certificate Exams are Ready

The High Committee for Sudanese Secondary School Exams reviewed the final arrangements for the 2023 postponed batch of the Sudanese Certificate exams, which are set to begin on December 28.
Following a meeting at the Ministry Complex in Port Sudan on Tuesday, Ahmed Khalifa Omar, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Committee Rapporteur, confirmed that all the necessary preparations are complete, and the Ministry is ready for the exams. He added that emergency centers would be set up in Atbara and Al-Damar cities for students who were unable to register due to the war, with these centers open until December 27, the day before the exams, to allow late students to sit for the exams. Similar centers will be established in other states.
The committee also approved that students who cannot attend this exam would be allowed to take it in March 2025, three months later. Khalifa expressed the government’s commitment to holding the exams in a conducive environment and wished the armed forces success.
