Senior Militia Leader Injured in Clashes in Kordofan

Hussein Barshim, a senior leader of the Rapid Support Forces militia, was injured during clashes between the army and the militia on the outskirts of Umm Rawaba. Barshim fled, leaving behind his vehicle, while Osama Al-Faki, the leader of the Baza’a tribe, announced a 50 million Sudanese pounds reward for anyone who brings Barshim’s head, whether from the ground forces or the air forces.
Al-Faki stated that the Baza’a tribe had sent hundreds of fighters to liberate North Kordofan.
