U.S. “Angry” Over Killing of Aid Worker in Gaza and Calls for Investigation
Vedant Patel, Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, said on Tuesday that the United States urged Israel to investigate claims about the killing of aid workers in Gaza in airstrikes, expressing anger over the recent death of an employee from the charity Save the Children.
According to Reuters, Patel, responding to a question about the killing of Ahmed Faisal Al-Qadi (39 years old) in an airstrike on Saturday in Khan Younis, said that Washington was seeking more information about the death.
Patel stated: “We are angry, and we want more information about this incident.” He added: “The Israeli military must provide additional details about this incident… We urge Israel to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation into such actions and take appropriate measures within their system.”
