Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The Chairman of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, has received an invitation from the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to visit Kuwait to strengthen and enhance the cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
During his meeting with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Sudan, Dr. Fahd Al-Dhafiri, on Thursday, Al-Burhan expressed Sudan’s appreciation, both from the government and the people, for Kuwait’s supportive stance towards Sudan in international and regional forums, as well as its humanitarian role in supporting the Sudanese people and providing humanitarian aid during the country’s current crisis.
Kuwaiti Ambassador Al-Dhafiri confirmed in a press statement that the Emir of Kuwait welcomed this distinguished visit, which would further support and expand the cooperation between the two nations.
