12 Killed, 40 Injured in Russian Attacks in Southeastern Ukraine
Officials in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih regions reported on Friday that at least 12 people were killed and more than 40 injured in Russian attacks on the two regions.
The governor of Zaporizhzhia said, according to Reuters, that ten people were killed in the region due to an attack that caused a fire at a vehicle repair facility.
Local media quoted a regional official stating that 24 people, including two children, were injured. A video clip showed thick flames rising from a destroyed building and a charred car.
The governor also mentioned that some areas experienced power supply issues following the attack.
Separately, the governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast stated on the Telegram app that a missile damaged an administrative building in Kryvyi Rih, also in southeastern Ukraine, killing two people.
The emergency services reported that at least 19 others, including a child, were injured, adding that residential buildings were also damaged.
