The Arab League renewed its support for the stability of Sudan and the preservation of its sovereignty.
A responsible source at the Arab League’s General Secretariat stated, “The League is following with great concern the reports related to the indiscriminate bombing of the Zamzam IDP camp in North Darfur, which resulted in casualties among civilians, a clear violation of international humanitarian law.”
The source confirmed the League’s commitment to the implementation of the Jeddah Declaration, including the obligation to protect civilians and the necessity of reaching a ceasefire. The League reiterated its firm position in supporting Sudan’s stability, unity, sovereignty, and independence.
