The Executive Director of Shendi locality, Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, confirmed that the victory signs are apparent and predicted the imminent defeat of the militia.
In his speech at the foundation-laying ceremony for the People’s Resistance House in Kaboosha, north of Shendi, Abdel-Ghaffar said the militia had intended to present itself as an alternative to the Sudanese people, but the ability of the armed forces to manage military operations led to the failure of all their plans—Plans A, B, and C. “They ran out of letters in the alphabet in the face of the armed forces’ strategies, which have bewildered military experts worldwide due to their effectiveness in thwarting all aggressive plans,” he said.
Addressing the rebels, he added, “Either you surrender, or you will die,” confirming that training would continue and camps would remain open until victory is achieved. He emphasized, “The military will not retreat until Sudan is freed from the betrayal of traitors and agents.”
For his part, the representative of the Third Infantry Division, Sector North of Shendi, Brigadier General Ali Al-Noor, announced the launch of the Third Dignity Brigade in Kaboosha in the coming days. “I am certain that in the coming days, there will be a rush towards the Third Dignity Brigade,” he said. He also declared that additional training on advanced weapons, including jamming, drones, and special operations, would take place soon.
Meanwhile, the Head of the People’s Resistance in Shendi locality, retired Major General Tarek Youssef, confirmed the readiness of the resistance for any mission. “We will remain a strong support for the armed forces, and we will be an earthquake for the enemies,” he said. He reassured the army’s Commander-in-Chief and the Sudanese people that Shendi would remain resistant to mercenaries.
In this context, the Head of the Resistance and Alert Unit of Kaboosha, Hamid Ahmed Al-Bashir, announced that with the foundation-laying of the Resistance Administration, it would become a military stronghold supporting the armed forces. He stressed that the resistance would always stand by the army.
