Army advances in Bahri and secures control of “Samareb”

Sudan Events – Agencies
The Sudanese army and its supporting forces took control of the Samareb area, north of Khartoum Bahri, after battles with the Rapid Support Forces militia on Thursday.
Military sources informed Sudan Tribune that the army, following Thursday’s operation, completed its control of the Samareb suburb after a previous operation last month, during which they advanced in the area adjacent to the positions of the Rapid Support Forces, which operate from East Nile. The army also continued its progress in the neighborhoods of the expatriates and Shambat.
