Kikil: I will not leave the battlefield, our offices are the “trenches”

Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The commander of the Sudan Shield Forces, Abu-Aqila Kikil, revealed that he had refused to go to Port Sudan after joining the army, having defected from the Rapid Support Forces militia.
Speaking during his reception of the “Al-Wahishat” convoy to support and assist the Armed Forces and Sudan Shield Forces in the Ghur Mountains in the Al-Batana region, which included several combat vehicles, reinforcements, and funds, Kikil stated that he would not leave the battlefield and sit in offices until all displaced people return to their homes. He added, “Our offices are the trees and the trenches, and our primary mission is to defeat the Rapid Support Forces.”
