Sudan Events – Follow-ups
On Monday, the European Union imposed new sanctions on four Sudanese figures, including the head of military intelligence, Lieutenant General Ali Saber, former Director of the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS), General Salah Gosh, and two individuals associated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Osman (amaliat) and Tijani Kirshom.
The European Union stated that the sanctions include travel bans and asset freezes due to their involvement in human rights violations and political repression in Sudan. These individuals were listed due to their role in threatening the peace, stability, and security of the country.
