The Ugandan government has officially apologized to Sudan for the comments made by Ugandan Army Commander and son of President Museveni, who threatened to invade the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.
A Ugandan presidential official stated that they are offering an official apology to the Sudanese government.
The official clarified that the remarks were an individual opinion and do not represent the Ugandan government or the Ugandan military. He also confirmed that Uganda supports peace efforts in Sudan.
