On Saturday, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, met with Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khuraiji, in the presence of Sudanese Foreign Minister Ambassador Ali Yusuf.
Al-Khuraiji conveyed greetings from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the head of the Sovereignty Council.
The meeting discussed the progress of Sudanese-Saudi relations and ways to strengthen and enhance them, as well as areas of mutual cooperation between the two nations, which share strong ties across various fields.
The Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to ensuring security and stability in Sudan.
