Zelensky Announces ‘Death and Injury’ of More than 3,000 North Korean Soldiers in Kursk
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday that Kyiv would support efforts to stabilize Syria, noting that his country has already made decisions to support food security in Damascus.
He added: “We believe it is important for the security of the Syrian people and the region as a whole to eliminate any Russian presence in Syria.”
In another context, Zelensky referred to the risks of North Korea sending more troops and military equipment to the Russian army.
He added on the X platform that more than 3,000 North Korean soldiers in the Russian region of Kursk have been killed or injured.
Ukraine has controlled part of Kursk since August.
