25 Rebels Killed and the Army Destroys Armored Vehicles in El Fasher

The Sudanese army reported on Saturday that it killed 25 rebels in the city of El Fasher, North Darfur State.
The Sudanese army stated on its official Facebook page: “Our armed forces, in coordination with the joint forces and mobilized personnel, supported by artillery, destroyed seven combat vehicles, including an armored vehicle, a Sarasar, and a BTR armored vehicle, killing 25 rebels.”
The report on Friday’s events in the North Darfur sector also mentioned that “El Fasher witnessed significant calm, with stabilized conditions and high morale among the troops, who are united to protect the land and ensure civilian safety.”
The army explained that “due to repeated defeats, failure to receive salaries, and some calls for withdrawal, clashes broke out among the militia rebels, resulting in the death of 14 rebels and several others being injured.”
