“Standards” Announce Inspection and Monitoring of Humanitarian Aid

The Director-General of the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Authority, Rahba Said Abdullah, confirmed that workers at the main ports were present at all times for inspection and monitoring, facilitating the flow of imported humanitarian aid.
Engineer Tijani Bashir Taha, Director of the Standards Sector in the Red Sea and a member of the Technical Mechanism for Humanitarian Emergencies at the Humanitarian Aid Commission, outlined that 170,754.8 tons of humanitarian aid had been received via the Southern Port, 46.63 tons through the Northern Port, 1,374 tons through the Osman Digna Port, 95 tons through the Osif land port, and 1,257.3 tons through the Port Sudan International Airport from January to early December of this year.
