The Chairman of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, sent a congratulatory massage to John Dramani Mahama on his victory in the presidential elections in the Republic of Ghana, wishing him success and further development and prosperity for the people of Ghana.
In his message, the Sovereign Council Chairman stated, “It is my pleasure and honor, on the occasion of your election by the people of Ghana as President, to send you my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for success in your high responsibilities and for leading your country to more development and prosperity.”
He praised the distinguished cooperative relations between the two countries, highlighting the strong brotherly ties between the two peoples, and reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing and developing relations for the benefit of both brotherly nations.
