The Chairman of the Sovereign Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, sent his condolences to the American people on the death of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter.
Al-Burhan stated in a tweet on X platform, “We were saddened by the news of the death of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. Our condolences to his family, President Biden, and the American people. Sudanese will not forget what the Carter Center contributed to promoting human rights, social development, fighting poverty, and combating diseases. May he rest in peace.”
The Carter Center announced on Sunday that former U.S. President Jimmy Carter passed away at the age of 100.
