The Chairman of the Sovereign Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met on Monday with Zhang Xianhua, the Chinese Ambassador to Sudan.
The meeting discussed the course of Sudanese-Chinese relations and ways to enhance and develop them in all areas, with a focus on supporting mutual cooperation to achieve the common interests of both countries.
The Chinese Ambassador, in a press statement, conveyed the congratulations of his government to the Chairman of the Sovereign Council and the Sudanese people on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Sudan’s glorious independence, expressing his hopes for further development and growth for Sudan and the realization of security, stability, and peace in the country.
