Intelligence Director: “We promise that Sudan will suffer no harm or misfortune”

The Director-General of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Ali Mufadal, remarked that Independence Day comes as the country faces exceptional circumstances, direct aggression, and regional and international conspiracies that the Sudanese people have bravely confronted.
He highlighted the remarkable performance of all security institutions, which have sacrificed their lives and resources to defend the country and safeguard its territory.
In a congratulatory message on the occasion of Independence Day, the Intelligence Director praised the dedication of intelligence personnel across Sudan, who steadfastly stand on the front lines, bearing the responsibility of protecting the nation and its citizens, and contributing diligently to enhancing security and stability despite the country’s delicate circumstances.
He added, “Despite the great challenges facing our beloved nation, we in the General Intelligence Service, alongside all military and security institutions, pledge to spare no effort in ensuring your safety and security and to work hand-in-hand with you toward building a better future for our beloved homeland.”
He concluded, “We vow and pledge that Sudan will suffer no harm or misfortune as long as we breathe and remain vigilant.”
The Intelligence Director, his deputy, Lieutenant General Mohamed Abbas Al-Labeeb, and the officers and personnel of the service extended their warmest congratulations to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, his deputy, members of the Sovereignty Council, the Chief Justice, the Acting Prime Minister, members of the Cabinet, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and his deputies, the General Director of the Police Forces, and the great Sudanese people on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Independence Day.
