The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, received congratulations from the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the country’s independence.
Al-Burhan also received congratulations from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on the occasion of Independence Day.
The President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, sent a congratulatory message to Al-Burhan on the occasion of Independence Day.
