On Sunday, the preliminary committee of the Sudanese Doctors’ Syndicate revealed that 9 abortion procedures were performed on women who were raped in a town in East Al-Jazeera during the past week.
According to Adiba Ibrahim Al-Sayed, a member of the Sudanese Doctors’ Syndicate, two of the raped women were medical staff who were abducted from a hospital in East Al-Jazeera following the Rapid Support Forces militia attack on villages in East Al-Jazeera in October.
