Kabbashi Arrives in Sennar and Assesses the Operational Situation

On Monday, General Shamsuddin Kabbashi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sudan’s Sovereign Council, arrived in Sennar. He was received by Major General Ali Hassan Belo and Major General Abdel Monem Abdel Basit Mohammed, the Commander of Sennar’s Control.
Kabbashi was briefed on the ongoing operations in the area and reassured the operational situation in the Sennar axis, praising the significant sacrifices made by the armed forces and other regular forces, along with volunteers, in defending the country’s borders, sovereignty, and unity, as well as repelling the rebellious terrorist militia.
During his inspection tour of the military divisions and front-line forces, Kabbashi arrived in the city of Singa, accompanied by General Mohamed Abbas Al-Labeeb, Deputy Director of the General Intelligence Service, and General Moatasem Abdullah, Deputy Director of the Defense Industries Corporation.
He was welcomed by the Governor of Sennar, Tawfiq Mohammed Ali Abdullah, and the Commander of the 17th Division, Major General Omar Mohammed Al-Hassan, along with the state’s security committee.
He was briefed on the military operations across various axes and the general situation in the state, as well as the efforts and arrangements by the state government to provide essential services, humanitarian assistance to the citizens, returnees, and displaced people.
