Hala Al-Karb, the regional director of the Horn of Africa Women’s Network (“Sayha”), revealed on Monday that 10 cases of suicide among women from villages in East Gezira were reported during the period from October 21 to the end of the year, following the RSF’s invasion of those areas.
Al-Karb told “Sudan Tribune” that they received reports of 10 suicides of women and girls from the Al-Hilaliya, Tamboul, and Azraq areas during the period from October to December 31, after being subjected to mass rape by RSF elements.
