Sudan Events – Follow-ups
On Thursday, Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Assistant Commander-in-Chief, General Yasser Abdel Rahman Al-Atta, conducted an inspection tour of the Sudanese Certificate Examination centers in Omdurman, accompanied by the Governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, and several members of his government.
They were received by the Director of Khartoum State Police, the Director-General of the State Ministry of Education, and officials at the examination centers.
Al-Atta visited the examination halls and ensured their smooth operation on the final day. He praised those organizing the exams, describing them as a “battle of honor,” emphasizing that their success is no less significant than the victories of the armed forces on the ground.
Furthermore, the Sovereignty Council member met with some examinees and their parents, expressing his gratitude for their patience and efforts, and wishing them success. He affirmed that education is the driving force for the country’s development.
Al-Atta also commended the significant roles played by the security forces in ensuring the safety of the Sudanese Certificate Examinations and creating a suitable environment for their conduct.
