The 19th Infantry Division in Merowe reported that the RSF targeted its headquarters with several suicide drones, one of which crashed near the command building, causing damage to Merowe’s power substation.
According to a statement by the 19th Infantry Division’s media office on Thursday, the army’s air defenses successfully downed all hostile drones without any loss of lives or equipment. The statement added that the drone attacks persisted from 12:30 a.m. until 4:00 a.m. Thursday.
