Israeli Army Announces Death of 5 Soldiers in Northern Gaza
The Israeli army announced the death of 5 soldiers and the injury of 10 others in northern Gaza on Monday morning, according to the “Times of Israel” newspaper.
The deceased are: Captain Yair Yaakov Shushan (23 years old) from Ma’alot-Tarshiha, First Sergeant Yahav Hedar (20 years old) from Kfar Tavor, First Sergeant Guy Karmi’el (20 years old) from Gedera, First Sergeant Yoav Vifer (19 years old) from Herzliya, and First Sergeant Aviel Weizman (20 years old) from Poria.
According to the newspaper, all these soldiers served in the reconnaissance unit of the Nahal Brigade. Additionally, 10 other soldiers were injured in the incident, 8 of whom are in critical condition.
