Lieutenant General Shams Al-Din Kabbashi, a member of the Sovereign Council and Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces, held a meeting with military leaders in the Gezira State axis. He received a briefing on the overall security situation, operational readiness, and the armed forces’ efforts to liberate the country from the rebellion and eliminate the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
Kabbashi praised the victories achieved by the armed forces, other regular forces, volunteers, and joint forces in liberating Wad Madani and restoring it to the nation’s fold.
In an impromptu meeting with citizens, Kabbashi reaffirmed the unity of the people with their leadership in defending the nation’s sovereignty. He also met with army officers and soldiers as part of his visits to military units.
Additionally, Kabbashi toured Wad Madani, inspecting the calm and stability in the city, including a visit to the Hantoub Bridge.
