General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, assessed the situation of citizens in Omdurman, where electricity and water services had been disrupted due to attacks by the Al-Duqlo terrorist militia on the Merowe Dam’s power transformers and infrastructure projects.
Citizens of Omdurman gathered to welcome General Al-Burhan, expressing their rejection of U.S. sanctions against the Sovereignty Council Chairman, seeing these sanctions as an attack on Sudan’s sovereignty. They reaffirmed their unwavering support for the armed forces until the rebellion is decisively defeated.
The Sovereignty Council Chairman assured Omdurman residents that the crisis would soon end, emphasizing that the armed forces’ victories would continue until every inch of Sudan desecrated by the terrorist militia is liberated.
