Aqar Orders a Review of Salaries for State Employees Supporting the Militia

Deputy Chairman of the Sovereignty Council Malik Aqar directed a swift review of state employee salaries to identify and suspend payments to those proven to support or collaborate with the terrorist and rebel Rapid Support Forces militia.

During his meeting with Minister of Labor and Administrative Reform Ahmed Ali Abdulrahman on Monday, Aqar stressed the importance of studying the report of the committee formed to address this matter. He called for effective coordination among the Ministries of Finance, Justice, Labor, and Federal Governance, as well as the General Intelligence Service.

The Minister of Labor and Administrative Reform noted that the meeting discussed the ministry’s performance over the past period and the recommendations of the Administrative Reform and Labor Workshop, focusing on rebuilding civil service and repairing the damage caused by the war after the liberation of Sudanese cities and enhancing security and stability.

He also pointed out that Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, had endorsed and directed the convening of an economic conference to discuss the role of civil service in administrative reform, the role of employment offices in people’s livelihoods, and studying the justifications presented by companies for laying off workers.
